I would like to take this opportunity to tell you how pleased we are to have done business with your agent Teresa Havens. Sometimes buying or selling a property can be very frustrating. Mrs Havens was not only knowledgeable and professional, but her bubbling personality and willingness to go above and beyond made this a pleasant experience. Mrs. Havens did all the foot work and took care of all the minor problems that pop up during a sale. After I finished writing it, I realized there are a few things I left out. :)

When my husband got stationed at Fort Polk in July of 2007 I immediately began to research the housing options around the area. My first task was to find a real estate agent who could help me as a first-time homebuyer. I found Wayland through the Coldwell Banker website, and decided to contact him since he specialized in military moves and first-time buyers. Boy I did not know what I had gotten myself into. I believe I have been spoiled from having the best realtor anyone could have the first time I bought a home. Wayland kept in constant contact with me while I was in Memphis. The first time I met him I had a wonderful feeling about him. He is dedicated, helpful, and will tell you the absolute truth. He knows this area like the back of his hand. He is very knowledgable, and one can tell from talking to him that he is in this business to make his clients happy, not to make money, which makes all the difference. Every house he found was well within my budget, and met as many of my preferences as possible. We had a very difficult time finding anything I liked, as I am a very picky person. But he didn't give up one bit. He put up with me the whole time, which is amazing. We got to the point where I had less than two weeks to find a house. On a Thursday around 11 in the morning he called me and asked how quick I could get down here to look at a house that had just gone on the market 5 minutes earlier. He said when he saw it, he thought of me and had to show it to me before anyone else snapped it up. I told him to give me about 9 hours and I would be there. I arrived at 8:30 p.m. He was waiting for me in the parking lot and we immediately drove to the house. After looking for about 2 months I was getting nervous about finding something that I would be happy with. He was right on the money, it was everything I had been looking for. We signed the contract at midnight and left the office around 1 a.m. Usually your realtor stops being your realtor after closing. Not Wayland. The day we closed he came back to the house with me and told me I had to go on a ride with him. He took me to turn get all of the utilities transfered into my name, because I had no clue what to do. Wayland made the entire process easy to understand and enjoyable. Recently a friend of mine decided to sell her house and from telling her about him, she went with Wayland as well. They hit it off immediately and she shares my opinion of him. Going through the home-buying process by myself was intimidating at first, but Wayland was there to help me in every way possible. You can not find a more dedicated, knowledgeable, helpful, and funny person.

I would like to let everyone know how pleased and happy we were wiht our Realtor, Teresa when we sold our home in August 2007. We could not have picked a better realtor than her. I have had some dealing with other realtors before but never ever did I have the opportunity to deal with a realtor and company of such high caliber.

Teresa made it happen that our home sold within record time and for the price that we expected the house would sell. The transaction went as smooth as could be.

I sure wished I could have had her here finding a new place for us. Should I ever go back to Louisiana, Teresa would be the realtor I would take.
